Major achievements of the last 03 (three) years:- The main work of the department is to formulate, implement and evaluate the annual agricultural extension plan at the upazila level. In the last 03 (three) years, Munshiganj upazila has been able to increase the production of vegetables in potato, corn and fodder areas through the transfer of modern and suitable equipment according to the needs of the farmers. Note that in the financial year 2022-23, potato was produced on 9775 hectares of land, 3326188 MT, Aush was planted on 160 hectares of land, 345 MT (rice), maize was planted on 120 hectares of land, and 985 MT of vegetables were grown on 2899 hectares of land.
